Good skiing! Night show at Westendorf

Kalle Palander from Finland, winner of the FIS-Slalom needed 1:36.74 from start to finish in Westendorf. Mad Mike Küng, Aegidius Koidl and Norman Lausch needed exactly the same amount of time to ‘destroy’ an altitude of 700 m, rushing towards the ground above the heads of 3 000 enthusiastic spectators.

The three paragliders , equipped with Bengal lights, miraculously drew dynamic AcroManeouvers onto the black sky. Just before the final at 8:30 p.m. they performed a spot landing at the brightly illuminated touch down area. The crowds went wild.

Terrific! Intensive Life – that’s it!” Mike says to Norman Lausch, member of the German national paragliding team. Norman agrees with a beaming smile and adds happily, “I’m not used to performing in front of such a huge audience. It’s madness!”
