„Meadows blossoming in full colour, green alpine grass, deep-blue mountain lakes and majestic rocks and towers.“ This is the describtion of the Dolomites at the official homepage of the Tourist Office Val Gardena. And this describtion is correct. No, it is an understatement. In reality it is much more beautiful and impressive.
On August 21st and 22nd there was a colorfur bustle in the air and on the ground at the Flight Festival in Gröden. Paragliders, parachutes, six helicopters, UL-hanggliders, a real airplane, model airplanes and hotair
balloons flew crowded together. The spectators, together with kids, dogs, bags and baggage at the festival square had always something to watch.
One
highlight were MadMikeKüng’s jumps from the helicopter.
After the airdrops into space, his paraglider opens in a second’s
time and he startet his his aerobattle show. Finally, no way, he landed
always in the centre of his applauding public.
